Hey everyone! Usually I make an end of the year newsletter in November and give myself a break in December, but…life’s been very busy, and I forgot. So you’re getting one at the end of December instead! I guess it’s more fitting that way.
So let’s talk about this year…
2025: Oh Wow
I feel like I’ve already complained heavily about this year already, so I don’t want to sound like a broken record here. But this was a weird, tough year. A lot of very quick pivoting as things shifted on a dime, or on the whim of a certain country’s president. The both of us are very tired, and unfortunately I don’t think we’re out of the weeds by any means.
We know we aren’t the only one. This was a tough year for a lot of lil businesses like ours, and it was very hard to see everyone else struggle, too. We watched countless businesses close up this year. And others downsize considerably. I’m trying not to see this as an “end of an era” entirely, but I can’t help but feel a bit of that.
Anyway, I don’t want this newsletter to be a downer. We’re still trucking, miraculously. And no matter what, we’ll still be making stories and comics.
Shop Stuff
Our shop is open all of the holiday season, but here’s a special heads up for you all: we’ll be running a month long clearance sale in January to clear out the items we won’t be restocking, making way for the new. This includes plenty of pins, pouches, bags, and other goodies! More on that when we launch the sale.
Most importantly, we also now have shipping to the USA available again! This does mean, however, that we’re charging tariffs now to help things move smoothly. So…apologies for the extra fees.
But did you know books aren’t charged tariffs?? So you should buy our books, then you won’t have to worry about that! Or even get some PDFs, which have no fees or shipping charges!
Conventions
We are finally done with cons this year! We did a whopping 15 shows this year, which is definitely a new record. Which… I would like to not repeat ever again, because that is an exhausting amount of shows. But then again…who knows what’ll happen.
Winter actually already made a good write up about our shows this year, covering our thoughts on each market, and documenting some sales data, for those curious. So check that out…while I take a nap over here–
I’ll have a better schedule of our 2026 cons in our January newsletter, but as a teaser: our first cons of the year are gonna be March, with Vancoufur and Furnal Equinox! That’s right, we’re jumping right into our very first furry cons!
Happy holidays, winter season, or chill end of the year, everyone! Stay warm, stay cool, and stay safe. Here’s a cute picture of our cat.

Cheers,
-W&W
