Hey everyone!! As you’ve probably heard from our last newsletters, we’ve been pretty damn busy. And it looks like it’s only going to get busier as we enter into an extremely packed April. So let’s go over some of that (spoilers: most of it is conventions) and see what’s coming up:
Pintopia
First up: Winter and I have officially ordered in the pins for our Pintopia projects! The pins should be coming in April, though we likely won’t be able to start shipping them out until May. I honestly cannot wait to see them, they all look so fabulous and I want to hold them in my hands.
Here’s a mock-up of some of the Lil’ Harpy pins from our manu:
If you haven’t filled out your survey for either projects, please do so ASAP! We won’t be able to save all the stuff for you if you miss out!
Augustine
Just a handy reminder that we’re still updating our webcomic, Augustine! We’re finally nearing the end of chapter 2! If you wanna wait to catch up, we should be finished around May/June!
Conventions
So here’s the big one! We’re pretty booked for the next little while on conventions. Here’s what our schedule looks like:
Montreal Maker’s Market – Montréal, QC // March 29-30 (THIS WEEKEND!)
AnimeOttawa – Ottawa, ON // April 18-20
Calgary Comic Expo – Calgary, AB // April 24-27
Festivale Jouissif– Montréal, QC // May 3-4
I’m sure you can understand why we won’t be able to ship out pins in April, as the back half is taken up by conventions! We also have one this weekend, Montreal Maker’s Market!
We’ve been hard at work this year trying to change up our table display and upgrade it. These cons will be the first time we test them out, so if you’re on the hunt for us: look for the orange tablecloth :>
Campaigns
Our next big campaign after Pintopia is going to be a recolour print of our Theropods Card Deck! We just ran out of them, and would love to fund more. Of course, instead of just reprinting the thing, we’re gonna do a special recoloured version–a red deck! We’ll likely be launching this in May!
On top of Theropods, we’re hoping to unlock a bunch of different decks in this one, the first being Ceratopsians! Here’s a preview on those ones so far…
Beyond that we’re aiming for a Pterosaurs, and maybe even a Cambrian deck!

Other News
We also got accepted into the Toronto Artisan Market! Our shelf should (hopefully) be ready by April 15th, so look forward to that!
Winter and I will be heading back to school to run a Battle of the Books event for kids, and afterwords running a zine-making workshop in early April!
This is a lot of things!! Ahh!!
In less business-y news, the both of us have been using what downtime we have to fiddle with our websites. I completely revamped mine, and have been helping Winter with theirs. So if you’re interested in our separate personal spaces, there you are. Have fun poking around!
Winter has also been very busy with our own W&W site, and has added a bunch of pages and posts on resources for especially Canadian artists!
We also both got a chance to participate in the HYDRAPHONE–an art telephone jam where we get a drawing and interpret it how we like, and so on! This one split into 7 different teams, making it a wild ride. You can view the whole thing here!
